Exercise gear is some of the heaviest stuff people try to get rid of on their own. A treadmill can weigh a couple hundred pounds. An elliptical won't fold up the way you hoped. Weight plates, benches and cable machines take up half the garage. The city trash truck won't grab most of it off the curb, so it sits there for months.

Get it ready before we come
A few things make the pickup quick and keep the price where we quoted it:
- Unplug it. Power cords should be free before we arrive.
- Clear the path. Move anything between the machine and the door. Tell us about stairs, tight turns, a narrow hallway or a condo elevator.
- Leave it where it is if it's stuck. We'll handle the heavy lift. Don't try to drag a treadmill down the stairs yourself.
- Tell us the floor. First floor, second floor, garage loft or already at the curb. Each one is a little different.
- Bundle small stuff. Weights, mats and accessories go faster when they're in a bin or stacked together.
What exercise equipment removal costs
Junk removal is priced mostly by how much room your stuff takes in the trailer, plus weight and how hard it is to get out. Jobs start at $150. One or a few pieces usually run around $150 to $250, and you'll get an upfront price before we start. The quote is free, and there's no obligation.
A single treadmill from a first-floor garage is usually on the lower end. A full home gym with a rack, plates and a machine upstairs will cost more because of the weight and the stairs. If you've got other stuff to go too, like an old couch, mattress or garage junk, it's usually cheaper to do it all in one trip than to book two pickups. Stuck upstairs or in a condo?
A lot of treadmills end up on a second floor or in a condo gym closet after someone moves in. We deal with stairs and elevators all the time. Put us on the guest list if there's a gate or guard, and let us know about elevator reservations or building move hours. Clearing a rental, flipping a house or staging a listing? Old gym gear in the garage or spare bedroom is a common holdup. We can pick up a single treadmill or a whole home gym. If you have a lockbox, you don't need to be there. We'll text you when it's done.

Can you take a treadmill that's still plugged in? Please unplug it first. We'll do the heavy lifting from there.
Do you take apart the machine? We'll move it as-is when we can. If it needs to fold or come apart to clear a stairwell, tell us when you send the photo so we know what to expect.
How fast can you come? Often within a day or two, sometimes the same day. Send a photo and we'll let you know.
